Auditions
i Coristi Chamber Choir extends an invitation to all interested singers to audition for the 2011-2012 Season. There are openings in all sections.
When: Tuesday, August 23, 2011
Where: Holy Trinity Anglican Church (10037 - 84 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta)
What: Prepare a song or aria that best demonstrates your vocal capabilities (classical repertoire is recommended). You will also be led through vocalises, aural and sight reading exercises. An accompanist will be provided.

About us: i Coristi Chamber Choir is an auditioned, community-based chamber choir intended for singers with musical experience. Our goals are to create a challenging and musically rewarding experience for singers within a supportive environment, and to present concerts of high quality choral music to the Edmonton community and beyond.
i Coristi Chamber Choir - FINALIST in National Competition for Canadian Amateur Choirs
i Coristi Chamber Choir (conducted by Dr. Debra Cairns), has been selected as a finalist in the 2011 National Competition for Canadian Amateur Choirs. The winners of the competition (sponsored by the Association of Canadian Choral Communities) were be announced at the Opening Gala Concert of Festival 500 at the Arts and Culture Centre, St. John's, Newfoundland. Highlights from the competition were broadcast nationally on CBC Radio 2's Choral Concert with host Peter Togni on Sunday, July 10, 2011.

i Coristi Chamber Choir was also honoured to have been invited to perform at Festival 500, a highly-celebrated international festival of choral music. The choir left for St. John's on July 5, and presented six performances during Festival 500 - including performances at the St. John's Arts & Culture Centre, Gower Street United Church, and Mile One Centre.

i Coristi is proud to have attended the 2009 Eisteddfod Festival in Wales this past summer 2009! A big thanks to everyone that supported the choir over our 15th Anniversary Season! We were very proud to have represented Edmonton and the Canadian choral community through song.
